Independent Contractor Opportunity - Admin Support / Client Care - Edmonton
Are you someone who values kindness, professionalism, and meaningful work?
At PsychSolutions, Inc., our client care and administrative team shapes the very first experience people have with our clinic. You are often the first voice they hear on the phone. The first email they read. The first sense of reassurance that they are in the right place.
We truly believe healing begins the moment someone reaches out. When a person contacts us, they may already feel overwhelmed, unsure, or vulnerable. How we respond matters. It is our responsibility to help them feel heard, supported, and clear about their next steps. That includes helping them decide which therapist may be the best fit and finding appointment times that work for their life.
About the Role
Our Client Care and Administrative Team supports the day to day flow of the clinic while creating a calm, organized, and trauma informed experience for everyone who connects with us.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to phone calls and emails with warmth and clarity
- Supporting intake and scheduling
- Assisting with billing and administrative documentation
- Communicating professionally with referral sources
- Maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Supporting therapists so they can focus fully on client care
You are not just admin. You are part of the care team. Our clinic does not run without your organization, attention to detail, and steady presence behind the scenes.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who communicates clearly and kindly. Someone who understands that mistakes can happen and is willing to speak up, share errors openly, and suggest improvements. We value team members who step in to support one another when needed.
You also:
- Value confidentiality and professionalism
- Stay steady under pressure
- Are organized and detail oriented
- Believe in mental wellness and respectful care
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
Experience in a medical, counselling, or mental health setting is helpful, but it is not required. We care deeply about attitude, integrity, and alignment with our clinic culture.
Our Culture
We are a trauma informed, non discriminatory, anti oppressive clinic. Within our team, we prioritize psychological safety. We believe in honest and kind communication, accountability, and sharing and learning from mistakes. Growth matters, but collaboration matters more to us.
The way we treat one another inside our team directly shapes how we care for the community we serve and the clients we support. Respect and professionalism are not optional here. They are foundational.
